Maharashtra, Jharkhand election results live updates: While several exit polls have given the BJP and it’s coalition an edge in both states, the final results will be announced today as counting of votes is underway.
Maharashtra, Jharkhand Election Results Live: The counting of votes for the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand has begun, with postal ballots being counted first. The elections for the 288-member Maharashtra state legislative assembly were held on November 20. Voting in Jharkhand took place in two phases, on November 13 and 20.
Alongside these elections, the results of bypolls in 15 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Kerala will also be declared today.
All eyes are on the key battles between the BJP-led Mahayuti and the Congress-led Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra, as well as the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance and the BJP-led coalition in Jharkhand.
